Rachel Ellen Designs are independent greetings card and stationery designers established in 1997 and based in a Victorian print factory in Nottingham, UK.

Rachel who was previously a professional ballet dancer, started the company hand painting cards literally from the kitchen table in her London apartment.  A year later her future husband Justin, also a former ballet dancer (they met in Phantom of the Opera in the West End) joined the company. They haven’t looked back, and Rachel Ellen Designs are one of the leading stationery and greetings card designers in the UK.

Today, Rachel Ellen products are sold throughout the UK in a select number of High Street multiples, small chains, department stores and independents as well as throughout the world in over 25 countries with particular success in Japan.  

Rachel's hand - drawn characters have become instantly recognizable, and her charming style coupled with a top quality product means that Rachel Ellen has become a highly regarded Children's brand. 

All products created by the greetings card and stationery designers are manufactured to the highest standard using high quality materials and a lot of care.

Rachel Ellen have been awarded several prestigious industry awards including a GOTY (Gift of the Year) Award, a Louie Award (USA), a Dutch Greetings Card award (Best Cute Range) and 3 Henries Awards - Best Cute Range 2006, Best Children's Range 2008 and Best Cute Range 2011 as well as being short listed finalists on numerous occasions.
