Last year we got the girls together for a Galentine celebration, but this year we are sharing tips on how to host a Valentine’s Day party for your little ones. These easy tips make it easy for mum to host a fun (easy) little party at home.

Decorate in Pink and Red
Yes, we know.. pink and red are nothing new but combining these two colours in different patterns and textures and adding a splash of gold will turn traditional red into pure fun! If you are looking for decorations for your party, start with the basics. Plates, napkins and cups. How gorgeous is the colour combo above and below?

Other decorations can include tassles, balloons, cupcake toppers and garlands. Check out our selection of red and pink party ware below.

Valentine Activities
No kissing booths yet! But nothing wrong with a fun photobooth and props. Select activities that don’t need a lot of supplies or take a lot of time. You can set up an activity table before the time and let your little ones decorate cupcakes, get the crayons out or get crafty with easy Valentine Crafts.
Hearty Party Recipes
As mums we try our best to keep treats healthy and nutritious, but... if you are going for sugary treats you have to try the marshmallows as below (01)! They are almost too pretty to eat! Healthier options can include sandwiches that are cut into heart shapes (use a cookie cutter) or a yummy Berry Fruit Punch (02). Check out this lovely recipe for Frozen Yogurt Bites (03). You can pretty much shape anything healthy into a heart-shape snack - think watermelon (04) or homemade pizza with lots of veggies - and you are good to go!

Valentine Favours
The treat bags below are just as pretty as what is inside. Don’t send your little guests home empty-handed. Valentine favors can include a little sweet treat from our local favourite The Lime Tree Cafe. They have yummy goodies, cookies you can add to your party bags and catering, yummy! If you want to add a little extra sweetness to the goodie bag, opt for stickers, jewellery, toys or our fun clothes plasters. Perfect for personalising clothing, trainers or school bags. As seen below.
