And December is here! Who doesn't love to see a mountain of gifts under a gorgeous Christmas tree? What makes us really excited is innovative ideas when it comes to gift wrapping. Monochromatic gift wrapping is right on trend and if you can add something personal, it makes it so much more fun. We have some great gift wrapping ideas to get you in a festive mood.

A great way to personalise your gift wrapping is to decorate your own wrapping paper. By using brown kraft paper you can use a rubber stamp with any ink of your choice to create your own patterns. A great tutorial on how to create your own rubber stamp is available for all of you with crafty fingers (A). Definitely worth checking out! Spice up brown kraft paper with delightful red and white twine and red washi tape. Washi tape can be used not only to stick your wrapping paper down but also as a decorative element on paper and gift tags. We loved this idea from Toffee Bits and Chocolate Bits (B). And while we are on the subject of washi tape.. How cool are these "last minute gift wrap alerts" from Brit + Co? We just love the washi tape Reindeer!

Using natural elements like fresh berries, acorns or leaves are another great way to decorate your gifts with. Tie it with a piece of natural string to finish off the look. Monochromatic gift wrapping is a big trend this year. You can wrap your gifts in natural papers - think white, brown or even black. Add a touch of fun to it by using colourful ribbons or red and white twine. We just love the simplistic wrapping of Studio DIY (E). To make things a bit easier you can always print readily available gift tags at home. The quirky and beautifully designed Reindeer gift tags (F) are from the very talented Kathryn Hawkes from House of Hawkes. Simply download the PDF from her blog and print your own! The combination of natural colours with a dash of black makes this gift wrapping colour combo a spot-on style.

Happy Wrapping!

The first step in planning kids activities is to have a dedicated table for kids only! Setting a dedicated table aside, filled with fun activities is a sure way to keep the little ones entertained. You can have a lot of fun of setting up each seating - stick to your wedding colour palette but add a dash of fun to their table.
